While you may not need the assistance of a full-service wedding consultant, many bridal couples find that they would appreciate some professional advice here and there to make their own planning come together.  For this reason, we have a menu of wedding services, which includes our Specialty Services and ala Carte Services. Whether its specific advice you need in planning, or a consultant at hand, we offer as much or as little help as you need.

Platinum Wedding Buddy

This “peace-of-mind” package provides full service wedding planning, with complete, collaborative planning throughout the wedding preparations.  Our most popular beginning-to-end package!

In The Beginning

  • Design and customise a wedding vision with the bridal couple
  • Create and maintain wedding budget
  • Prepare a wedding binder for bridal couple
  • Advice on wedding etiquette
  • Evaluate service provider contracts
  • Develop detailed itinerary and coordinators’ contact information packets for service providers
  • Place follow-up phone calls to all service providers one week after mailing information packets
  • Develop detailed itinerary for wedding party (maid-of-honour, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents)
  • Manage guest seating arrangement

Making It Happen
 

The Ceremony
  • Assist in selecting a ceremony officiant
  • Assist in selecting ceremony music/musicians

 

The Reception

  • Arrange site visits to select a reception location
  • Set appointments for and attend site visits

 

Wedding Attire
  • Set appointments for and attend bridal salon meetings
  • Set appointments for all alteration meetings
  • Assist in selecting tuxedos

Stationery
  • Assist in selecting a stationer for wedding invitations and stationery

Photography

  • Set appointments for all photographer meetings
  • Assist in selecting a photographer and/or videographer

Guest Accommodation
  • Assist in co-ordinating out-of-town guest accommodation and transportation arrangements
  • Co-ordinate accommodation for wedding couple at reception venue (if wedding is held in a hotel)

Flowers/Decorations and Gifts
  • Develop a design for ceremony and reception decorations including wedding favours and gifts

Catering and Cake

  • Arrange site visits to select menu for wedding banquet and the wedding cake/dessert
  • Set appointments for and attend all banquet/baking meetings

Other Preparations
  • Plan and direct wedding rehearsal
  • Assist in selecting entertainment for reception

The Big Day
  • Execute the wedding itinerary, working with all service providers, family members and guests
  • Ensure delivery of all wedding day accessories, decorations, and miscellaneous items to the wedding and reception sites
  • Supervise loading of wedding gifts into designated vehicle
  • Distribute final payments and necessary tips to service providers
  • Supervise and assist with service provider clean-up at end of evening

Coffee & Consultation
This consultation session consists of a 1-2 hour meeting between our wedding consultant and the bridal couple and any others who may be assisting them in making wedding decisions. At this meeting we will discuss the type of services available, offer budgeting guidance, answer any questions and get your planning started in the right direction. Even if you don’t plan to hire a wedding consultant, this is a good opportunity to share ideas with a planning professional and receive valuable input regarding your special day.

 

Groom Service
A service that prepares the groom and his entourage for the wedding day.  From giving advice on formalwear, to tips on making a speech, to providing ideas for the bachelor’s party, to briefing his entourage on roles and responsibilities, we will ensure that the groom is ready for the big day.

 

Destination Wedding
Planning to have your wedding and honeymoon at the same place?  Then this service is for you. Whether it’s an intimate wedding for two, or a special occasion for friends and family, we will handle the details and leave you free to dream of your fantasy wedding. For couples wanting something truly different, we will custom design a special day catered to your wishes.

 

Parties and more
In addition to the wedding, we plan other occasions that coincide with it. We will provide the same attention to detail at your engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or day-after brunch.  We will help you with the budget, location, service providers, decorations and all your planning needs. In addition, 1 Perfect Day will be here for you for the many events following your marriage.  We will be happy to plan your anniversary, baby shower or other special occasions.
